Terms of sale & returns
Plain-language terms for buying from Syracuse 3D Printing in Syracuse, New York.
About orders
The storefront is still in development and isn't taking online payments yet; for now, orders are placed by email. An order is accepted when we confirm it, not when you submit it. If a listing has an obvious pricing error, we may correct it before your order ships; you can always cancel for a full refund if the corrected price doesn't work for you.
Shipping
Shipping is determined at checkout: the cost is shown before you pay, and we ship with whichever carrier fits your order best. Once we hand your package to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you; if a shipment goes missing, contact us and we'll help you sort it out with the carrier. Local pickup is available only in special scenarios, so ask us before ordering if you'd like to arrange it.
Returns
Stock catalog items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, unused and in original condition, for a refund of the item price. Shipping costs aren't refundable, and return shipping is your responsibility.
Custom work, prints of your own design, and made-to-order items are made specifically for you, so they aren't returnable except for defects or our error. If we got it wrong, we'll make it right.
Warranty
Stock catalog parts are warranted for one year from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. If a covered part fails in normal use within that year, we'll repair or replace it.
This warranty does not apply to custom 3D prints, prints of your own design, or other made-to-order work. For those, if a part arrives defective or we made an error, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and we'll replace it or refund it.
Quotes and estimates
Numbers from the website's quote tool are ballpark estimates only. The firm quote we email you is what governs your job, including price, materials, and timeline.
Liability
Beyond the warranty and defect policies above, parts are provided as-is. Our total liability on any order is capped at the amount you paid for that order. Printed parts are made to your specifications, so judging whether a part is fit for your particular purpose is your responsibility, and we aren't liable for how printed parts are used.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. We sell to customers in the United States.
